Problems at School

Therapy is a conversation where client and therapist work together...

Educational Psychologists help young people to find solutions to -
  • Problems brought about by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Social-Communication Difficulties
  • Anxiety about school attendance (sometimes called school phobia)
  • Difficulties with aspects of learning or with the school curriculum
  • Personal and emotional problems such as sadness, depression or anger
  • Experiences of bullying in school
Educational Psychologists help parents to -
  • Find solutions to relationship difficulties their child encounters at school and within the home and family
  • Discover ways in which to help their child make progress in school
  • Understand their child's special educational needs

Educational Psychologists hope to be able to visit your child's school for purposes of assessment, support and advice.

Therapy

Therapy at Learning Curves is a respectful approach.  It is a conversation in which both therapist and client work together to break from the influence of the problems they are facing, and to build solutions.
